Tackle Real Fires using our Controlled Fire Simulator

Tackle Real Fires using our Controlled Fire Simulator

Included as part of our course, we will deploy our demonstration controlled fire simulator and fire extinguishers. This enables the attendees to gain valuable hands-on experience and build confidence using a genuine fire extinguisher, the functions for safe use and handling (e.g. Co2, Water etc) and the methods required for tackling different fire types.

This can offer "real life" experience so the attendees can be confident in their skill and knowledge should the need ever arise to use an extinguisher.

Where a fire simulator can not be used (For example due to lack of space or on online courses) this will be replaced with a presentation covering the same information. As the same content will still be covered this does not affect the certification provided, it is the same whether the fire simulator is used or not.

Our course is now available online too!

We have proudly adapted our course to be delivered online, and we have found it to be a real success for our clients.

Our online courses are in the same format and cover the same information as our on-site courses.  It is still a trainer-led course, with the same expertise, knowledge and care provided they are simply presented course by knowledgeable and experienced trainers, allowing you to ask questions and discuss matters raised ensuring you have the time and expertise provided to learn the information required.

Fire Warden / Marshal Training Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's):

Our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) section is designed to help you with your Fire Warden / Marshal Training queries, however, please feel free to contact us if you would like more detailed information or your question is not listed.

It is a legal requirement under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 that all employers / responsible persons ensure that all employees are provided with adequate fire safety training.

Not only is it a legal requirement but the course offers attendees an insight into the daily management of a property to help reduce the fire risk, as prevention is better than cure after all. This improved knowledge and insight allows each individual to understand the risks posed and therefore the employer / responsible persons then has a team of people actively trying to improve the fire risk in the property, which can only be of benefit.

Our course lasts between 2.5 & 3 hours. This can be dependent on group participation. On some occasions, it can run to 3.5 hours, it just really depends on the depth of questions asked.

The trainer will normally arrive 15 minutes before the booked session time to set up.

After successful completion of the course, each attendee is provided with an attendance certificate which is valid for 3 years from the date of the course.

The course is designed for between 1 to 12 people per session.

These courses teach vital skills, that in the event of a fire, you may need to remember and use. Having really large groups of people on the course means the attendees do not feel they can ask the questions they need too, therefore, we cap our courses at 12 attendees but recommend group sizes of 10.

From ex-members of the Fire Brigade to Fire Risk Assessors our trainers have a range of experience and knowledge that allow them to provide "real-life" examples.

Our trainers are dedicated to improving fire safety and teaching others how to do so in a passionate, positive & friendly manner. They love seeing the attendees at the end of the course knowing they have helped them to understand their responsibilities and passed on their knowledge.

Once you have discussed your requirement with our sales team, they will provide you with a quotation. Once accepted, they will then be in contact to discuss some suitable dates and times to find the best available slot to suit you.

If you have a specific date you require please let our sales team know at the very beginning of the enquiry and we will try our best to accommodate, we normally do!

In short, No.

Marshal & Warden are both frequently used to describe the role they undertake, it's just a different word same meaning.

Due to the use of a live fire simulator, we would recommend no "floaty" clothes that could be blown towards or dropped on the simulator.

Our trainer will require an area where they can set up a projector and laptop to enable us to present the course. The course participants will then need an area where they can sit comfortably, take notes, and participate in the course.

For the live fire simulator, we will require a space roughly 3 parking spaces.

The information provided in the FAQ's section was correct at the time of writing. Although we always strive to keep this up to date, legislation/standards are frequently updated. This section should not be used as legal guidance and or reference.

If you have any questions which are not covered above, please get in touch, let us know and we will be happy to assist.
