Old Palace of John Whitgift School is a site of outstanding history dating back to the 9th Century. It can surely be the only school that boasts a classroom that was once Queen Elizabeth I’s bedroom (And our engineers can only be one of a few who have tested a Smoke Detector in Queen Elizabeth I’s bedroom too!).
Working in a building with such history creates a new challenge for our engineers but one we have adapted too and overcame. Whether that be maintaining the existing fire alarm system, extending the Air Sampling Fire Detection System or ensuring the Fire Extinguishers are in working order and fit the needs of the property, our team of experts work closely with the school to ensure they suit the setting they are installed.
