In 2021, in the middle of a pandemic, two inspirational people, Jamie who works for one of our customers Funeral Partners Ltd and Charlotte who is a close friend of Jamie's who shares the same passion of helping great causes, set their selves the near-impossible task of organising a celebrity football match with only 7 weeks notice.
In such a short period of time, they organised a pitch (at Crystal Palace Football Club), organised a wide range of celebrities (Including TV personalities, comedians, you-tubers and ex-professional/international football players). The event drew a large crowd, was a fantastic event during a difficult time for everyone and they raised over £35,000 in donations for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
In 2022, Jamie and Charlotte have decided to do it all again and this time it will be bigger and better!
We wanted to support the event in whichever way we can, and Safe I.S. Ltd can finally announce we are Platinum Sponsors for the event. We are extremely proud to play our part in such a fantastic event for such a brilliant cause.
The big day takes place on 24th May 2022 and Selhurst Park, the home of Crystal Palace Football Club.
This year, there will not only be a single celebrity football match, there will also be a TikTok Tournament earlier in the day. Once the TikTok champs have been crowned they will be providing some entertainment, more details to follow with some exciting things to be announced! ?
All of this will be leading up to the big game, the main event, the 11 a side celebrity match. With some big names taking part in this year's game this will not be one to miss!
