The Cycling Challenge in aid of Goals4GOSH

Liam Peskett | 23rd February 2024

SAFE I.S. and T2Fit x G4G Cycling Challenge

As you may know already Safe I.S. support a local charity event called Goals4GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital). We have supported the event since its creation in 2021 and have proudly sponsored events, provided the charity with their very own website (www.goals4gosh.co.uk) and volunteered during events.

In case you don't know, Goals4Gosh is a unique combination of sport, entertainment, and philanthropy, featuring some of the biggest celebrities and football stars, all coming together to support a great cause.

2024 aims to be the biggest year for the charity to date, and Safe I.S. is once again the main sponsor of this year's upcoming event at Crystal Palace Football Club on 26th May 2024.

Whilst we have sponsored the event since its creation, we wanted to go one step further this year, so we thought, why can’t we host our very own fundraising event?

So, In partnership with another sponsor (T2Fit Old Coulsdon), that is exactly what we are going to do!

On Saturday 23rd March 2024, we will be hosting the SAFE I.S. and T2Fit x G4G Cycling Challenge.

So, what is the challenge: There are 389 beds in Great Ormond Street Hospital providing life-saving care. We aim to cycle 2 miles, per bed, in under 6 hours across 8 static bicycles, a total of 778 Miles. If you imagine, that's like cycling round the M25 6.5 times!!!

The Aim: To raise £1,500 in aid of Goals4GOSH and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The team at T2Fit have gladly provided the venue, their new state-of-the-art gym in the heart of Purley, Croydon, and we can not thank them enough for their support in organising this event (and for joining us as main sponsors for the Goals4Gosh main event in May).
