On Tuesday 24th May 2022 we had the absolute pleasure to have sponsored the Goals4Gosh Celebrity Charity Football Match at Selhurst Park. The event was hosted by our friends at Funeral Partners Limited and we are pleased to announce the event raised over £25,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.
The event took place in two parts. A 7-a-side Tik Tok Tournament and an 11-a-side Celebrity Match.
The 7-a-side tournament was close, but our team Safe I.S. Atheltic won the event and lifted the trophy. In the evening, the 11 a side match, an enthralling game was won 4-2 by Palace Pelicans, again the team we sponsored!
It was a wonderful occasion, one we felt privileged and honoured to be a part of and we are already looking forward to supporting next year's event! We can only hope we keep up our 100% winning streak, but more importantly play our part in helping to raise additional funds for such a fantastic cause.
Players to take to the pitch on the night included Anton Ferdinand, Lianne Sanderson, Yung Filly, Tyler Cruickshank, Dan Osborne, Tom McDonnell, Sean Sagar, Toby Aromolaran, Kerry Mayo, and Big G amongst others including our very own Liam Peskett.
